The AllStars’ mission is to identify boys and girls from grades six through twelve who display exeptional or potential musical talent. Participants will focus on musicianship, showmanship, pride of accomplishment, spirit and citizenship. Students will train during the school year with accomplished music educators and travel during the summer recess as official representatives of the B.B. King Museum.

B.B. King Museum AllStars Roster 2017-2018

Drucilla Roberson: (18) is a first year college student at Mississippi Delta Community College, majoring in music.  She enjoys writing original music and performing for her family and friends.

Durga Saseendran: (17) is a senior at Cleveland High School.  Durga enjoys playing the keyboard, writing music and making YouTube videos to share with her family and the world.

Faith Love: (17) is a senior at Simmons High School in Arcola, MS.  She enjoys singing, praise dancing, playing softball, and hanging out with family and friends.

Essence Simone Baggett: (16) is a junior at Gentry High School in Indianola, MS.  She is a member of the Choir, Beta Club, National Honor Society, and Vice President of JMG.  She enjoys singing, dancing and just enjoying life.

Breionne Levy: (14) is a freshman at Simmons High School in Arcola.  She loves cheering for her school’s team.   She plans to attend Mississippi State University Majoring in Criminal Justice.  Her hobbies are singing and cooking.

Elyssia Jones: (14) is a 9th grade Honor student at Greenville Christian School. Elyssia enjoys sewing, cheering, cooking, baking, and of course singing. Elyssia’s favorite quote is “when it rains, look for rainbows and when it’s dark, look for stars!”

Joshua Crawford: (11) is a fifth grader at Carver Elementary School in Indianola, MS.  He loves to sing and going to church.  He plays drums, bongos, and keyboard.  He loves spending time with his family.

Austin Porter: (10) is a 5th grader at Carver Elementary School in Indianola, MS.  He enjoys reading, singing, playing video games and football.

 

Harvey Jackson, Jr.: Originally from Cleveland, Mississippi, he has served as the Music Education Director at the B. B. King Museum since 2015.

Creative Director: Justin Tomlinson, an entertainment industry professional from NYC. Currently working in Marketing & Publicity at Sony Music Entertainment in Nashville, TN. Justin has worked with major artists such as Kirk Franklin, Anthony Hamilton, NBC’s The Voice Finalist Koryn Hawthorne & many more. He has over 10 years of experience working on major and local projects in NYC as a creative director & choreographer. Justin has a passion for developing new talent and making them superstars!
