Blues guitar prodigy and founding member of the 662 Band is celebrating his debut album release in B.B. King’s legacy club! It’s a place John Clayton knows well. At age 12, he jammed on the Club Ebony stage with guitar legends Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks in 2023 at the B.B. King Museum’s Expansion Celebration.

He later performed on the Club Ebony stage competing as a Youth Act in the Mississippi Delta Regional Blues Challenge, where winners advance to the International Blues Challenge in Memphis. With family roots in Indianola, John Clayton aptly chose to celebrate at Club Ebony and make history among the blues giants before him.
