Visit Mississippi and the Mississippi Blues Trail commission and will honor the B.B. King Museum & Delta Interpretive Center with the unveiling of a new Mississippi Blues Trail marker recognizing the museum’s dedication to preserving and celebrating the life, music, and legacy of the late American icon B.B. King. 

This special event will highlight the museum’s impact on blues heritage, education, and cultural tourism in Mississippi with a slideshow highlighting the museum’s history, past events, and B.B. King’s enduring influence. Ceremonial remarks will be given by state and local leaders, museum representatives, and Mississippi Blues Trail officials, followed by the unveiling of the official marker and a reception with light refreshments and live music by the B.B. King Museum Blues Band to follow.
