Funding for this project has been provided by the Mississippi Delta National Heritage Area and the National Park Service African American Civil Rights Grant Program. Join us for a community discussion about the future of the Indianola Freedom House, which provided a safe haven for Civil Rights workers during Freedom Summer of 1964. A short film directed by Blue Magnolia Films featuring interviews of Margaret Kibbee, Dr. Felicia King, Virginia Mack, Zellie Orr, Robert Terrell and Dr. Stacy White about the history of this nationally-significant Civil Rights site will be shown.
